I still have mine that I bought in 1994—32 years old and still in service—I DO worship them. They will outlive me. I'm 53 now.

I purchased my first set of 1200's in 1989. They were stolen in 1993. Insurance paid out and I purchased another set in 1993 and still have them now and they still look brand new. I'm 55yo. I'm leaving them to my daughter. She use to go record shopping with me in Chicago when she was a kid and she buys her own records today. She will also have my huge record collection when I'm gone.

MK2s are tanks! My pair was manufactured 9/83. Still going strong with over 10000+ hours on them. With all the gigs, sessions. Only the pop up target lights went out. (And of course cartridges.)

I have a MK2 from 1987. It served me faithfully in clubs for many years. During the COVID, I completely restored it, and now it's like new—used only for home listening

The MK2. Just realized how much that was close to MORTAL KOMBAT !!! Good old belt drive. I learned on one of those. Had to make it come up to speed. So the audience didn't notice. Then got me a set of 1200's. Woooo!! And they were used.
