Harley rider in Southern CA: Switched from Dunlop 404s years ago to the Michelin Commander 2s... Very good tire...When prices got out of hand, my tire guy recommended the Shinko 999s... great tire with a much friendlier price point, and my go-to ever since.

I have ridden on Avon tyres since the 1960s.... always my "go to" and they make for those odd sizes for older bikes...<br>Avon actually invented the high hysterisis rubber that everyone uses now since Avon's patent ran out.....

Tire choise is rather personal. like a girlfriend If you stay in the same category of tire, they mostly are all better tire than we are good riders. Racing on a track is another affair all together. ..

I run Shinko tires on all of my 17 bikes. I raced world land speed and have 4 FIM world records using Shinko tires. They may not have the life of some other tires but they run great and hole traction when you need it

And this video was brought to you by michelin. Obviously not a fan of michelin as cost to performance just isn’t there compared to Bridgestone, Dunlop (which btw is not Goodyear), or Avon.

Kenda KM1 tires work very well. Don't know about the low end of their lineup. Excellent grip, even wear, last long, low price.

Switched from Dunlop to Michelin commanders for one round. Grip seemed similar, but longevity was horrible. I switched back to Dunlop.
