My personal view is that Jon doesn't become more wolfish; In the tradtional sense, but more like Ghost, who is set apart from the other dire-wolves.

I think I'm more excited about the theory crafting possibilities from winds than winds itself ever coming out.

Mel glamouring to resemble ygritte poses several interesting possibilities when you consider they never met in life. Im curious if it means
1. She simply saw ygritte in the flames and accurately interpreted her romantic connection to Jon (kinda boring option)
2. She peered into Jon's dreams via glass candle or by some other magical means
3. There exists some sort of bewitching sorcery that changes how you're perceived depending on the observer (maybe ghost sees her as some kinda hot wolf lady lol)

Melisandre is charming Ghost so he presents no resistance when it's time to sacrifice him to bring Jon back. 😭 It makes sense if you think of it, she'll burn Jon out of the wolf the same way she burned Varamyr Sixskins out of his eagle. And that would be Ghost's final purpose, to be the key to bring such an important character back.

The insight that hit me most in this was that Jon might come back without the ability to talk. Stunning but it makes sense from the passages you read.

He'll be like the snow on the side of the road, darkened by exhaust pollution

I love the idea that he is in ghost and his body is wighted by he others and excorcised by melissandre bringing him back to life.
