Dick Strawbridge’s life after Escape to the Chateau has taken an interesting turn. What surprised you most about his journey?

So glad there was not a tragedy.  Really the use of tragedy in the clickbait title was not necessary.  I enjoyed the episodes of the initial renovation of the castle and the Orangery.  The castle with its walled garden being brought back to life rather than allowed to decay is admirable.  Both Dick and Angel have huge personalities and high standards which seems the video crews failed to understand and felt criticism from Dick were excessive,

I hope he still has a relationship with his older son. I liked their series ‘The Hungry Sailors’ 😊

Well done Dick and Angel and your lovely older children. I was shocked to see how tall they are as I haven’t seen the programme for ages. It was lovely seeing you all again

Brilliant couple and their children. I look forward to following more of their independently produced episodes and wish them every success.

It must take considerable strength of character to survive the intervention of a multi year TV production team with their inevitable conflict of demands and priorities.. .. Extremely Well Done guys !  Hopefully I'll get the chance to include a night or two if I can get my classic car tour of France organised !

We are lucky to have Dick and family, he will appear to be strict at times, it's part of having been in the military, once you leave it stays with you.  Please remember that everyones perspective and discipline is very different?
