A 1964 Bow Hunter Spent the Night in a Tree With Two Grays Below Him

On the night of 4 September 1964, three men went deer hunting with bows in the Sierra Nevada, off US Highway 40 near Cisco Grove, California. They became separated. One of them spent the rest of that night strapped to a pine branch with his own belt. Everything in this film comes from one United States Air Force file: Project Blue Book case "Sacto Area, California, 4 September 1964". Fourteen pages. We show them. The Air Force's own message traffic describes two figures in silver-like suits with "the complete absence of a neck" and "eyes that protruded extensively", and a third thing the witness called a robot, "for lack of a better description". The record card concludes: Other (Psychological). The same card has a cross in the box marked PHYSICAL EVIDENCE, against "No". Four lines below that, in the same typing, it says the arrowhead and the taped interview are in the specimen file. The witness is not named here. The Air Force struck his name out at his own request, and we have kept it struck out. They are handwritten, and they are only visible in the page images. Project Blue Book was terminated in December 1969. Both items were catalogued in 1975.
