  Shipbuilding has largely been outsourced to low-cost Asian countries. If you&apos;re still building your ship in a place like Germany, &nbsp;as Disney is, then you&apos;re going to pay more, but you&apos;re going to get exquisite quality, and that&apos;s something cruise guests notice.

  This is a really good documentary on the construction of the Wish. I know Disney paid for it but it doesn’t decrease my enjoyment of watching the documentary. &nbsp;I love behind the scene looks at these large construction projects. &nbsp;It takes years from ship concept to the first sailing with paying passengers.

  This looks like an incredible experience. I&apos;m not a huge Disney fan in particular, but you can just tell how much care, creativity, passion was put into every aspect of this build.

  My wife and I sailed on the Wish for our 10-year anniversary, ten years after we sailed on the Fantasy for our honeymoon. &nbsp;To say the Wish was beautiful from bow to stern is an understatement. &nbsp;This ship was absolutely magnificent! &nbsp;Everything from the aesthetic to the professionalism and dedication of the cast and crew on board was phenomenal! &nbsp;Disney cruises may be quite expensive, but believe me, they are worth every dollar spent! &nbsp;Highly recommended.

  I feel like I’m watching a grand scale sci-fi manga or movie watching them move those pieces of the cruise ship to build it. I’m with the worker looking up and saying, “it’s amazing.”
