  I&apos;m no furry, just never really called to me.<br>BUT. I am not so dried out a husk of a human being that I feel the need to police what other people do with their free time in order to deal with this stressful world we&apos;re all dumped into. Even if it is a sex thing for some of them, I don&apos;t care!<br>Shine on your crazy diamonds, the world is sad enough without us dogpiling on each other for the few things that make us happy.

  One of the worst hate attacks i ever saw done to the furry community was the Gas Attack of December 2014. Someone set up a Chlorine &nbsp;Powder gas attack in the Hyatt Hotel. Thankfully no one died from this attack but 19 people were sent to the hospital for treatment. To think someone had such a problem with Self Expression that they would harm people and showed me for the first time the severity of the dislike or hatred some furries come under and it saddens me greatly. Mainly because we furries are a form of self expression in a world that values conformity.

  Thank you for this video! Furry misconceptions are at an ALL TIME HIGH on YouTube recently and it’s always refreshing to see a positive video about us. I’m NOT sexual. I’m NOT a Zoophille.   While not ALL furies WANT a fursuit, many of us do but simply can&apos;t afford one due to how expensive they can be to make and maintain. This is why for the past few years I&apos;ve been improvising with whatever materials and mascot bases I can get on sale.

  I&apos;ve never understood being mad at someone because they like to wear a persona. As long as you aren&apos;t hurting or deceiving people, &nbsp;I think it&apos;s fine. I could never be a furry because I&apos;m way too introverted to want to attract attention, but if it makes you happy, &nbsp;why not?

  While there definitely is some sexual parts of the community, literally every fandom does. It&apos;s a normal thing. Glad to see a video like this that is explicitly against anti-furs :)

  one of my goals in life is to reduce the amount of furry haters in the world. so far I know ive changed at least 3 people&apos;s opinions on furries, even if only a little! this video is great, thank you for making it

  I remember back in 2020 a somewhat popular furry got pregnant and people would send her comments along the lines of &nbsp;saying they hope her child died in the womb and that they wanted to kill both her and her child. Honestly surprises me that people would say that over a purple dog costume.

  something ive noticed is people keep saying negative things about furries but they never list specific details that are accurate and it makes me wonder if there was really any good reason for the hate to begin with

  I used to hang out with furries online all the time, and even went to a convention once. Ultimately not my scene, but on the average more pleasant than most online communities.
