Shortly after 9/11 I became a police officer. I have never forgotten. I serve in honor of your mom and the others who gave the ultimate measure of their very being.

For those wondering her body was found in March 2002 at Ground Zero. At the time of the discovery cleanup at Ground Zero was wrapping up that month.

Having read a number of books on 9/11, I've heard about officer Moira Smith.<br>I've seen that picture of her helping that injured man.<br>She was truly dedicated, and courageous.<br>She spent that horrible day working to save so many lives.<br>Her daughter has every right to be proud of her Mom, and her Dad.<br>Best wishes to this young woman.
