  You played in the best Era of women's tennis, you all pushed each other, it was so fierce. Never again will we have this dominating era of tennis of the big hitters so separated themselves from the others. The Americans, the Belgians and the Russians were way ahead of the others. Thank you Kim for doing your part in inspiring so many of us to pick up a racquet and fall in love with such a sport. I used to wait for that matchup too...I think Monica was able to beat Steffi everywhere easier except on the grass which was harder because Steffi's backhand used to skid in the grass and helped her win big points and that troubled Monica more than any other surface.
