Very true. π― I just went from a reduction proposal to a continuation to an increase from 80 to 90%, all using the supplemental process. Pay attention to this man Vets. π―π

Got denied again with new medical records and a nexus letter from xterra health. Same reasoning as the last. "No new evidence or relevant evidence".

What's my next move? Appeal? HLR? I don't think they're even even looking at what I submitted.

First off, thank you for your service to this country. And 100% thank you for the service you're providing to us vets. I believe I'm going to use this video to guide me into filing a supplemental claim on a very botched C&P exam on my back. VES doc didn't even take measurements I questioned her on it and I got nothing but an attitude.

I submitted a nexus letter and in service events that contributed to my hearing loss. Was denied for no service connection.
But in my denial letter there was evidence that was not shown to be viewed/used in the evidence section like the nexus letter from Xterra. What should I do?
Also I just received my dbqs from c&p exam and each exam was ruled in my favor. My MOS is on the list of high noise exposure.

I think with all my claim denials from the VA, Iβm going to file a supplemental claim for hypertension and PTSD.

I have so much back pain and claimed lumbar spine and my ankles are jacked up as well. Got 20% on my ankles but really wanted to get my back situation approved. They are both service connected but didnβt quite understand what they wrote for my denial. Going to meet with my VSO and see what I should do next but Iβm feeling a little hopeless. The C and P exam seemed like it really well. Maybe the x-ray they took didnβt show much and maybe I need an MRI and other exams before filing a supplemental claim π

So we did a supplemental for the original claim for dementia and neuropathy per toxic exposures The doctor who did the c&p exam for dementia told us that my husband had a head injury while he was in the Air Force. So he suggested we we file for tbi. So we filed a supplemental for tbi. Had two c&p exams. One for neuro cognitive issues, which that doctor was upset that the tbi c&p wasnβt done first and also the DBQ she had to fill out was the same one that was filled out less than a month before for dementia. So then we got the c&p for tbi, which that doctor right off the bat said not tbi. So here is the event. My husband got hit in the head on base with a racket ball racket in the forehead area. Went to medical, had to have stitches and was taken off duty till stitches came out and medical released him. Military records arenβt very informative but we have a buddy letter and picture of the incident. This doctor said this would not cause a tbi. Though the first doctor said it did. So now I believe this is going to be denied again. Then our DAV rep said we will file for the judge. We have had so many denials, and the Va agrees he has all these issues but not service connected. From what I understand having been in the medical field, tbi can be be from a minor incident to something major. Medical field still do not have a total picture of these incidents and what their future problems can exist. Also my husband was a firefighter. You would think with all the exposures to toxins and also a Tera memorandum in his file would link these exposures but the first doctor for the dementia says to go the tbi route with a supplemental. Ugh. Been doing all of this since 2021.

Dr. Bahr, if a condition has worsened wouldn't it be better to just file for an increase vs a supplemental claim? There seems to be more risk with supplemental vs increase especially if the rating is at the lowest level. Would be great for you to address the differences as to why filing a supplemental claim for disagreeing with a rating percentage vs just filing for an increase. Thank you, God Bless
