Thank you for the Nexus letter you wrote for me. I will attest that he included multiple secondary disabilities in one letter.

I’ve had a few C&P exams over the years, and I can’t help but notice a pattern—at least from my own experience. The exams I’ve had at legit medical offices here in the U.S. have generally been thorough, professional, and fair. On the other hand, a couple of the contractor sites I’ve been sent to felt like I somehow got dropped off in a completely different country—like I took a wrong turn and ended up in rural Rwanda instead of a U.S. medical facility. Those are the exams that felt rushed, surface-level, and, not surprisingly, led to worse outcomes for me.

I’m not saying it’s intentional or that every location is like that, but the difference in quality and time spent is hard to ignore. It feels less about the condition and more about how much attention the examiner is actually giving you. Just my anecdotal experience, but it’s something I definitely pay attention to now.

So after exiting the Active Duty and National Guard in 98 no one ever talked about the VA. My out processing was rushed, the VA was mentioned but no one said anything about claims or the like. The only VA clinic I knew of was 2 hours away. I never knew any of this existed. I simply dealt with pain and other issues with suck it up and drive on, use of Tylenol, Motrin and energy drinks. Now I have had to watch hours of videos and practically become a paralegal to file. 25 years of not keeping track of friends and well Im not getting any buddy statements
