Unnecessary violence in the apprehension of the Blue's Brothers has been approved 😂😂😂😂.

For many of us who came of age in the '80s, this movie served to introduce us to the best music of our parents' generation. The soundtrack cassette could be found on every college campus and at every dorm party as standard equipment. Their success was not only due to their SNL origins, but rather their actual talent in the music and their homage to the greats of yesteryear.

Absolutely wonderful movie, great music, and the wildest car chases ever.
Dan Aykroyd does his own singing and plays harmonica.

If you didn’t know, Ray Charles - owner of the music shop- is blind, which made the idea of him firing the gun even funnier.

Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi did do their own singing. They started playing as the Blues Brothers on Saturday Night Live. Check out thier "Soul Man" performance. This is a favorite movie for me because I'm a Chicago boy and was growing up when this movie came out. It's so quoteable and fun.

Some other movies I reccomend for more humor like this and SNL alum, "Stripes" "Caddyshack" and "Animal House".

"We probably missed a lot of cameos already." Everybody misses this one: the entire band are playing themselves. Google any of them.

Steve Cropper, the guitar player with the long, straight hair, just passed away this past December.

One night, John Belushi vanished from the set. Dan Aykroyd went looking for him, saw a house with the lights still on, and knocked. Before he could explain himself, the home owner went: "You're here for John Belushi, aren't you?" Belushi had come over, asked for a milk and a sandwich, and then crashed on the sofa. Aykroyd called Belushi "America's Guest" after that.

For the rest of her career, Kathleen Freeman had people seeing her in public and saying, "hey, Penguin!"
