  you inspire me so much. it’s really refreshing and exciting to see a physician actually loving his job. i definitely hope i have this outlook still once im an attending :)

  great video! A "7 off" video would be a great one where you talk more about the perils of that off week, diving a bit deeper into what your colleagues have also mentioned, what has worked/not to keep you on track. Seems like a very helpful topic and can be very illuminating to people considering hospitalist as a career.

  You and your colleagues are wise to get procedures back into IM. I have read medical message boards for the last 20 years. One of the profound posts was from a doctor documenting the decline of procedures in IM. <br><br>The IM is the quarteback of medicine, you need to understand the playbook deeply and get your hands dirty before tossing ball to the position players.

  Thank you so much for allowing us to observe the Para last month!! I learned so much from that one procedure!! At an away site now for IM rotations and had the opportunity to observe another one and the attending was impressed by how much I knew about the procedure—all from what you taught us that day!! Thank you!!!

  Watching this as I procrastinate working on my IM residency application..<br><br>Some of my reasons for going into IM are similar. Its reassuring to hear that as an attending life is good :)
