  As silly as the game might be, I think it has genuine value in keeping doctors thinking of other potential diagnoses. &nbsp;Sure, you want to look for horses not zebras, but it&apos;s good to remind doctors that zebras do exist. &nbsp;I&apos;m in the rare position to know multiple people with extremely rare diseases - my best friend&apos;s wife and daughter both have Osteogenesis Imperfecta Type 5, and my childhood sweetheart has Fibrous Displaysia and MAS. &nbsp;In both cases, they were heavily misdiagnosed early in life and suffered a lot because of it, so the more education there is around the existence of those rare diseases, the better.

  I love the acknowledgment and humility of different specialties (inpatient vs. outpatient). It reminded me of a trip I did several years ago. I was guiding an expedition with a large group from Europe that required a doctor to be on the trip. He was a trauma surgeon from Colorado. As guides, we stress taking care of your feet, since even minor issues, such as blisters, can derail plans and affect the entire group if they are allowed to turn into ugly wounds.<br>We get to our first break on day 1 and ask how everyone is doing, especially with hotspots/developing blisters or foot discomfort. The guides are all trained in advanced wilderness medicine, carry dedicated footcare kits, and we got to work alongside the ER doc. He looked over to what we were doing and immediately told his &quot;patient&quot; to wait for one of us to help her. When we got back to hiking, I asked if everything was ok. He simply said, &quot;It&apos;s obvious that you guys are significantly more proficient at this than I am.&quot; To which I replied, &quot;What, you don&apos;t get a lot of blisters in trauma surgery?&quot;<br><br>Here was a doctor with MASSIVELY more medical experience and knowledge than all the guides combined, and he recognized that we had a unique specialty beyond his expertise.

  This was very awesome and entertaining to see. Primary care is definitely a specialty where you could see the questions he immediately knew the answers to because of his specialty.

  Random, but the diagonsis at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mSDPC1sqvc&amp;t=1772">29:32</a>. They are basing this off of a character from the movie “pitch perfect”. Kinda cool, the character was Chloe Beale. The second statement mentions she is a member of an a capella &nbsp;group named the “barden Bella’s”

  I do a lot of these as a high schooler, and though i don’t know much about illnesses, it helps me learn how to research and get simple information on some.
