This is by far one of the most realistic movies when it comes to how parenting is portrayed for new parents especially teens.

I dearly miss the 1970s/1980s/1990s vibes, and these old movies help bring it back (at least partially).

The realest movie about teenage pregnancy and protection.

This movie shows the reality of teen pregnancy and parenthood. Sex is not love! No means NO!  Taking responsibility for your actions is important. I admire Bobby for not deserting her and the baby. Most young dads just plant their seed and move on. We must teach abstinence and educate our young about the consequences and keep lines of communication open. There should be more classes in school, beginning in middle school.

I believe this film should be shown in schools and then debated on, allowing the students to speak and ask questions about it freely. No taboo!!! No religion!!! Self worth, self respect, values etc

Absolutely one of my favorite movies ever.  Just watched it again today after a loooong time, and it holds up so well.  I love that they didn’t give this a ‘happy’ disney ending.  Everything was simply realistic.

I always thought that this was a way above average lifetime movie. Really top notch acting, writing and a very relevant story. I’m glad I found it here! ❤
