This movie was one of the saddest movies I have ever seen. You're right, we must be thankful for everything God has blessed us with, for starters the air we breathe and most importantly, Jesus! Praise God!

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I can't stop to crying 😭  I was widowed at 26 with 3 children, all small and one of them very seriously ill with asthma, we had no home and no one helped us, if someone helped me they had different petty interests and I didn't trust anyone, I worked 3 jobs, I only slept 7 hours in 3 days but no one abandoned me, only God knows my hardship but God is the One who never abandoned me for a moment and never left me, he gave me supernatural powers because humanly it was not possible to endure years in a row working and not sleeping, I often asked myself God am I a robot or a human and that's how I got over it all, every abandonment hurts me and I can't stop crying. I relived the hard moments in this movie but I didn't abandon my children and I would go through 10 times more difficult if I had to start over and I still wouldn't leave.  May God bless all single mothers and may they never abandon their children 😭😭😭😭

Putting your child in the 'system' is not always a safe place !

This has to be the saddest movie I’ve ever watched. And worse knowing it’s real for many people.

Mare is one of my favorite actresses. She’s very underrated, but she’s an amazing actress.

I ended up homeless for 5 and a half years when I was 54.   It was a very unfortunate set of circumstances that led to that horrid situation.  Thank God I didn't have a child with me. This movie is absolutely heartbreaking. 😢.  People do not judge homeless people. You haven't walked in their shoes and have no idea of their circumstances. God bless.

Why didn&apos;t Mare Winningham win an Oscar for THIS performance?<br>I mean, I&apos;m a 58-year-old man, and I&apos;m sitting here with a broken heart, all because this woman gave such an outstanding performance.

Fortunately I never had any problems with anything being stolen from me when I was homeless... Because I prayed ALL the time!!! And I&apos;m still praying today!!!

Oh my goodness what a sad movie. We all ought to be grateful for all we have. Thank the Lord for great mercies.
