I also was diagnosed with endometriosis but it was caught too late and I lost both my ovaries. I was only 13 and my life turned upside completely. You not alone at all.

Emma, you didn’t have to apologize for being M.I.A. You just had a huge surgery & we’re very understanding of that!!!:)

I also have endometriosis I lost my left ovary but I still had 7 kids. Now and then I still have pain because of the scar tissue but I also got my tubes tied and burnt so I can’t have anymore kids. I’m very blessed to have 7 kids.

The medical system is sometimes our worst enemy. Some people would nearly be on their deathbed and that’s when the hospitals would finally listen to them.

I had severe endometriosis and I had a hysterectomy at 20. I still have my ovaries but later this month will most likely be losing both due to a 9 CM ovarian cyst. I’m getting married in October and my fiancée and I have decided adoption will be the best for a future family one day. You’re not alone!!

i've been suffering for the last 4 years years with extremely painful periods with almost all the symptoms of endometriosis, i've gone to the doctors and gynaecologists and they have all asked me the same questions and just put me on the pill because "if you have endometriosis you get put on the pill anyway so we will just do that for you instead of having you checked" it worked for awhile but my symptoms are slowly coming back, doctors are so useless and never really listen when you need help. i've had doctors accuse me of just having an std and lying about my pain even though at the time of that appointment I was literally a virgin like girl bfr - its all so long and confusing im so happy you have gotten the treatment you need, you deserve to have a life pain free <3 sending you love in your recovery

I was diagnosed with endometriosis in July of 2021. However, I was asymptomatic, what a double blessing. And now, I am endometriosis free. And did not have to go thru surgery either. I tell u that God is truly a healer

As a nurse and an endo patient who had a hysterectomy at 23... the medical system is SO frustrating. Waiting for a cyst to rupture and repeating scans is just crazy. I hope the surgery helps you. Endo is a lifelong issue but there are things that can help it!!

oh my goodness first of all thank you for sharing your story. I’ve been watching you since middle school and I’m nearly 20 now and I also have been diagnosed with endometriosis and as difficult as it is, its actually very breathtaking and nice to see someone who has a platform talking about it and bring awareness to it! Thank you so much for this
