  At my home course the greens are surrounded by gnarly Bermuda grass. So missing the green could put you in some deep grass. I’ve found that using a pitching wedge slightly open heel up swing like a putt using the toe will pop the ball up onto the green and roll nicely. I recently put a 7 wood in the bag and will consider using it in ways you mentioned and I never use the high lofted wedge except for special situations like a plugged bunker lie near the lip. Great tips.

  You know I&apos;m going to try that <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfDAYRUigKQ&amp;t=790">13:10</a> shot with my 11 wood. &nbsp;I bet it would work a lot better do to the much higher loft.

  Thanks! I play most of the cheaper courses in sd and most of them are in the same condition. Even bonita is starting to look bad esp hole 10 bruh 🤣. But mainly cottonwood, some of the holes in adm baker, chula vista muni, miramar. Been making good decisions lately im feeling a break 90 soon, but some of this shot been getting me. going to try this 7i option instead of my usual 52.

  I struggle with 7i (any longer iron) mainly because i have never practiced with them and have to guess how hard to hit …and usually guess way wrong lol🤦🏼‍♂️😜👍🏼✌️
