A joke that people miss nowadays is that the Intermission is placed 10 minutes before the end, which if you're watching on Netflix you can see the bar at the bottom, but if you saw it in a cinema in 1975 you'd think there was another hour and a half of the movie to go!

I love after Lancelot has stormed the castle and killed all these men, when he's coming back down the stairs and he's apologising very English like, im dreadfully sorry, I just get a bit carried away, then all of a sudden he starts up again attacking and the music comes back on, and he has to apologise all over again. That one always gets me, I mean, every joke does, but that one, maybe says something about me.

15 years ago, my girlfriend and I bonded over our love for Monty Python Holy Grail on our first date. She's my wife now and we still watch it once a year

I remember seeing Monty Python in Regina Saskatchewan in the early ’70’s… and even to my naive teenage mind I could immediately could sense this show was something different, and special

Battle Madness: I love the scene, when Lancelot attacks the castle and the guards are wondering what he's doing. You see the same shot of Lancelot three times, so he starts always at the same distance. And then suddenly he's there and kills the guards. That's so well timed, because it lasts the exact amount of time Lancelot would need to run this distance in a continuing one take shot.
