Good reaction. I don't have too much to say except to mention that one of the hoodlums who killed his wife later became a movie star - Jeff Goldblum.

There were no cameras on subways in 1974.

Bronson was 51 here, and stacked, you would think he was 39-40

New York in the 70's was literally like Gotham City , on the verge of bankrupt, lots of crime and poverty, a very dark place. NY is so different now!

They remade Death Wish with Bruce Willis. It’s good too. I watched it back to back with a movie with Jennifer Garner called Peppermint, which is similar, but even harder to watch. I remember my first revenge movie, Assault On Precinct 13 (1976) with a very young Kim Richards. She’s in a scene in the beginning of the movie that sets everything in motion. It was the first movie that pissed me off so much at the bad guys that I felt I wanted to hurt them, personally. That’s powerful.

Did anybody notice the scene at the airport with the son-in-law how crazy the background actors were one of them is querying a ridiculously large mallet someone else is carrying a 6-foot potted plant and there is a gay cowboy walking like he's on a catwalk once you see it you can't unsee it
