Being in government must have been super frustrating for such a logical and efficient guy.

So there was at least one congressman who understood 'real' people. What pleasure to see this retreat. I've always wanted that pump by the sink as a backup in my spare cabin, and I dream of cooking on a wood cook stove like that, too. Yep, my potatoes are perpetual - I haven't bought a potato in a store, or seed potatoes in decades (unless I wanted to try a different variety).

I'm surprized they let him in congress?!...capable, understanding, compassionate, intelligent....Whoa, no wonder they gerrymandered him out of it?!

What a pleasure to see Roscoe! I met him in the 90’s when he was our elected Representative. Glad to see them doing well.

My son and I moved off grid to a 300sqft cabin in Alaska. We have a 12v solar setup, and a generator that we use once a week. No running water, and we heat with a wood stove. It's not for everyone, but just right for us. Thanks for sharing! -Dusty

A well-planned dwelling. He’s very savvy about having a secondary residence adapted to special circumstances. Really enjoyed this tour from the Congressman. Thank you.
