  only german overengineering could produce a 40 minute video on making some bolt-on sticks. i&apos;m at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMScDYHgAVI&amp;t=98">1:38</a> and i&apos;m pretty sure i won&apos;t skip a second of it.

  People complain about anything these days. &nbsp;Music was like ~20 seconds worth of b-roll overlay. &nbsp;You do you Marius. &nbsp;Music was fine and to me added a little dimension to the intro.

  So, I&apos;m a knife maker, so I have a lot of experience with hardening. First, don&apos;t put it in water - it&apos;s too harsh and fast, buy hardening oil. Second, before tempering, remove the oxides after hardening so you can see the tempering colors - find tables of what tempering colors should look like by your steel and try to guess by eye. Third, get a hardness tester (old - for a new restoration video) or a new one (more expensive) or the cheapest option (but not very accurate) are files with a certain hardness, according to which you will determine the hardness of the surface by scratching.

  I watch a lot of videos like this and I’ve been following Marius since he was a teenager. I’m always blown away by his level and his projects. But sometimes, it&apos;s so fast that I feel it&apos;s more like a demonstration &nbsp;than a sharing of knowledge.
