  I was in conversation with the head of games design during the production of this expansion, and was actively fighting for all sorts of "cool products" like re-releases of the original three with updated components, expansions that would link core boxes together, or core games based on D&D starter sets so players would end up getting both. But alas, "as cheap as possible" and "as quick as possible" was the direction they went. I adore these games, and would love it if someone who really really cared was put in charge of making them.

  It's great that you reviewed this. It's one of the few boardgames where there are SO FEW reviews or videos. It's like nobody bought it.

  I bought this from somebody on BGG for a very good price because i was actually liking it for its potential possibilities for homebrewing additional tiles and customizing more quests for it and finding other figures and accessories to use with it also. I like the ideas of the environment region to expand on.

  This is the only one in the series i did not get. I wonder if it was  to be a complete system and was never finished and simply polished up enough to sale as is recouping their losses.

  I have all the D&amp;D Adventure Board Games, including this expansion.<br>So far I love playing all of them.<br>Haven’t played this expansion but have opened it.<br>In my humble opinion, it is NOT worth the price of $70+!<br>I payed a little over $70 because I just wanted it ASAP.<br>This expansion not only padded the monsters with tokens instead of D&amp;D figures, they didn’t even bother adding at LEAST a deck of new treasure cards or even any additional Advancement Tokens.<br>It’s still an OK expansion, I like a challenge and more “variety” if you could call this that.<br>If anything, you’re basically paying for the small set of minis, new dungeon tiles, new boss cards, and an encounter deck set.
