When Alicia mentions she: a) has a psych degree and b) used to be an e-sports commentator makes me think about an alternate universe version of Batman's villain, The Scarecrow. Except instead of terrorizing people with a fear toxin, he became a VTuber and uses parasocial relationships to convince people to commit crimes on his behalf.

He had to say 'Not now, guys, please' to the camera. That's a level of 'I am about to rage out' that I didn't expect, even from Gordon. Because that was not a smile. That was actual anger. He doesn't mind when people say he's a bad chef or something because that's anger and clashing against him. When they outright call him a liar and saboteur, that's something that actually peeves him off to no end.

"Aren't you worried about your next employer seeing you talk that way about your current boss?"

I mean...if they're seeing the person say it on Kitchen Nightmares, considering the behavior of so many of the owners I'm pretty sure they'll get it.

Dang, this lady was a Karen before Karen was coined. They should be called Abbys.

This is one of the more infamous psycho restaurant owners. The way she snapped at him about his room service, said it all. She had seen him for about 30 seconds. You can literally watch her hackles go up every time she is even slightly criticized.

The fact that expediting literally one dinner service was all it took for Abby to identify where the problems are (and why) says everything you need to know about how little she'd been willing to put any effort into figuring out why her business was tanking.

Ah yes, the episode where Gordon almost went to jail for beating up a small lady

Unfortunately, Down City closed only a few months after this episode aired.

It was a sad case of too little, too late even if they stuck by the changes Gordon introduced.

47:57 This is one of those rare moments in Kitchen Nightmares where the owner manages to bring out Gordon’s Hell’s Kitchen side.

I’m so excited for Alicia to watch La galleria 33. It’s like if a telenovela was Italian. Rita and Lisa are absolutely hilarious
