  It is a testament to the content creator who can make 2+ hour video about one of the most awful mini game collections entertaining. I am really enjoying this series and plan to watch them all.

  The death scenes in the waterslide stage always freaked me out when I played this game alone in my bedroom! Can't believe I'm finally seeing the endings of some of these after 30 years!

  A few fun facts from my childhood: my friend beat «Space Mutants» on the real Mega Drive. We also both almost beat «Virtual Bart», but weren&apos;t sure how to get past the water park level (we didn&apos;t figure it out back then). When emulators became available, I tried to beat «Bart&apos;s Nightmare», but Maggie&apos;s Temple seemed impossible. Just so you know, we were in elementary school, didn&apos;t speak English, didn&apos;t have manuals, and we simply didn&apos;t have public internet at home. It was just games, a ton of time, and a desire to understand them, even if they were bad, and I&apos;ve only mentioned a couple. It was literally a different time to explore these weird games.

  I think you&apos;re pretty spot on with your final comment. I remember playing this, disliking it due to it being both too hard and too boring at the same time, and then not wanting to play it much more - in a way it somehow manages to be so bad it drives players away before they get the chance to discover just HOW bad it is. That&apos;s kind of impressive in its own bizarre way.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XE2eSB4muGo&amp;t=4131">1:08:51</a> Super late but Pork Factory Pig Bart may actually have more of a connection to the Simpsons than it seems. I think it&apos;s a reference to Bart&apos;s rebellious nature and how it makes him a capable of leading a revolution. This is a mission where because of Bart, an establishment owned by his idol is flung into chaos as the oppressed class revolts overthrowing the ruling power with Bart himself being seen as their leader/hero. It&apos;s basically Kamp Krusty but with pigs and no Tijuana

  The insidiously difficult seal section on SNES honestly looks like they just programmed it wrong and either didn&apos;t know how to fix it, or didn&apos;t have time. It reminds me of some of my Mario Maker levels where platforms would go out of sync for the exact reason you described. It&apos;s entirely possible the designers were just villains, but it&apos;s hard for me to imagine a human designing it that way on purpose.<br><br>It&apos;s interesting to see a deep dive on Virtual Bart. You have a point about how it just gets lost in the sea of bad Simpsons games, I never really thought of it as an outlier until watching this. It&apos;s cool to see stuff like the &quot;easier to land on corn dog&quot; trick on the roulette, and how it stays on the corn dog when you have 1 life. Little stuff to show that at least someone on the team wanted players to beat their game. It&apos;s a shame how sloppy levels like Dino Bart ended up being. I&apos;d love to hear stories about the development of Virtual Bart.<br><br>My pitch for a better ending is, Bart gets out of the machine, and it zooms out to show that the NASA members mentioned in the manual have arrived. They&apos;ve been watching Bart&apos;s progress in the VR programs and are now applauding, considering the machine a success. Maybe Bart thinks they&apos;re applauding for him, but then it cuts to Martin Prince being given all the attention, presented with a medal, and Bart&apos;s in the background grumbling. Then cut to the scene of Homer getting in and becoming stuck, spinning around and around until the machine explodes from being used too much, leaving him on the ground covered in ash. Martin and the NASA members are shocked, and Bart uses that time to sneak in and steal the medal, riding his skateboard out of the school and into the sunset with a winning grin on his face. Hey it&apos;s not <i>that</i> much more but it&apos;s something.

  i&apos;ve gotta say, i&apos;m taken aback by that health bar in the corner. seeing bart&apos;s skin rot and decay... is REALLY morbid in a way i was NOT expecting.

  I wasn&apos;t looking at screen so, when I started hearing &quot;snowballs where falling on you&quot; I thought literal black CATS where falling on top of you.
