As a black tailor myself, I. So ashamed to say that I had never heard of Ann Lowe until today (1/21/25). This was executed to perfection, thank you for highlighting such a rich part of our history!

THANK YOU!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! Ann Lowe is my favorite. When I was in designing school I did a report on Ann Lowe and I got a copy of an article from Ebony Magazine, LOVE IT!!!! Macy's down the street from my school had a paper dress of Ann Lowe Jacqueline Kennedy's wedding dress!!! It was BEAUTIFUL!!!! I wanted to touch the paper dress, but the security guard gave me the "LOOK" of not 🚫 to touch the dress. I also went to the Field Museum to see more beautiful garments that Jacqueline Kennedy owned.
