  I have nearly finished the Matter with Things which has been a crash course in all the disciplines that Iain mentions.  The breadth of his knowledge is both staggering and compelling and I will never know enough to take any intellectual position on his assertions.  I only know that what he proposes resonates with me and that intuitively I have always felt that values are essential and that there is something more to life than the concrete world we experience through our five senses.  Iain's work is, to my mind, a validation of a way of living that honours the very nature of existence.

  Ever since I was a child, I knew in some unfathomably deep level, that essentially I am here because there is a soul sickness and I need to be a part of the movement that is re-enchanting the world and our outlook of it. Iain mcgikchrist and his ability to articulate his philosophy and insight is pure antidote to this soul sickness.

  I have  listened to many wonderful interviews and discussions by Iain McGilchrist on  YouTube. What I love in this interview is hearing him intimately share and describe his experience of being personally called, to be a ‘channel’ with his writings. This is not surprising, as his contribution to humanity in this age is nothing short of superhuman and genius. His awesome ability to tap into the universal consciousness of his past hero’s speaks of a soul connected to a timeless stream of consciousness. He holds a gentle hope for our future. His incredible intellect and his humbling desire to be our teacher and guide, helps us towards seeing that we are all connected and all have the power to effect change, with  love, and heal our beautiful world, each within our own lives. In our own powerfully small but significant ways. Thank you Iain. You so inspire me. 💚🇮🇪🌎💪
