  I’m going to watch this again and take notes. Whenever I watch or read Dr McGilchrist I’m overwhelmed by the speed and density of ideas.

  "The opposite of a great truth is another great truth" hit me like a slap. I'm in awe of what I've just learned from this man. As a left hander I've struggled with the feeling that I don't fit in this world, a feeling that this world wasn't made for me. My favourite joke has long been "Only left handers are in their right minds".  I've often felt my left and right minds can hold different, often  opposite, beliefs. Like schroedinger's cat caught between knowing and not knowing, being and not being.

  I reached a stage of difficulty reconciling objectivism with religion in my early teens.  I found C G Jung's ideas provide a link between the sacred and the profane.  I believe Jung's deep deep cogitations on the nature of the mind are very very underrated and misunderstood.

  Humility should be a given in those who are able to educate unfortunately it isn’t, Iain Mcgilchrist has an abundance and I believe he will continue to open the ears of many in challenging times.
