In Indian ayurveda this internal heat is called Pitta(literal meaning fire🔥 ) the easiest way to find foods that increase pitta is to google, eg. “does ice cream increase pitta?”

There are so many food items that seem cold on the outside but are heating on the inside like ice cream , curd (especially for people with inflammation), all dairy, etc.

In ayurveda the practice of lymphatic drainage is called Abhyanga, it’s a full body daily body massage that one should do in the morning for proper blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. But the difference is you do not choose some random oil. Choosing oil is based on your body type eg if it is already high in Pitta(fire) you will choose cooling oil like coconut oil, choosing heating oil can further increase your body heat.

After going through comment section, I realised almost every culture have important perspective towards health that is directly related to beauty and fine aging, and ultimately every culture promote same meaning behind different structure of words.

As an African who lived in China for a little over 4years, the one thing I took was always carrying a bottle to refill my warm water intake and also wearing socks and slippers in the house. I vividly remember how my boss and colleagues got the shock of their lives on my first day when I filled a cup with tap water to drink, my then boss sat me down and told me how bad that was for me

amusing to see someone so young teaching other youngsters. I did not have wrinkles untill I was 70 and was shocked to find that eventually everyone gets wrinkles it they live a life of laughter. I never bought face creams but have allways made my own oils using herbs from the wild and my garden.. Masses of gardening to produce the food I need and walking everywhere ,spending my time on busses looking at the landscape and trying not to be too smug about the people who waste their lives on mobile phones which i do not have. I never eat before 10am or after 7pm and can wear the clothes i have owned since I was 30 much patched and embroidered. My work helping others manage the stresses of life changes is now only part time but I am at long last learning piano to keep those neural pathways growing

LOL my mom used to always warn me to guard against "yut hei"! She always drank warm water and would avoid eating a lot of fried foods.
