I love the bemused look Frank the electrician has whenever Mike is telling him about the cowboy work issues :)

There are not enough people like Mike Holmes, a man who knows his business and cares that too many people get screwed by scam contractors out of lots of hard-earned savings. And I know Mike Holmes chips in a large portion of his own subcriber money to help the poor, and senior home owner! A thousand praises!

This is exactly why I started using CS Outsource to help vet contractors - too many horror stories like this one where homeowners get completely screwed over.

I thoroughly believe that ALL Insurance companies should should be required to pay back all money you paid them if they cancel you without ever covering anything.

Have been watching this show for years. Love it!! Always wondered; Assuming a lot of the local contractors donate time, are the materials donated, or does the show pay for it all?
