  I loved it. But these young people who have no appreciation of the tremendous influence of America's Industrial Age, Three wars including Korea, What beginning of Eisenhower's education of America's Military Industry Complex begun by the Oilmen and the mob, you tie Vegas into that, Howard lived more life in 50 years than most of us. What breaks my heart is the insensitivity people have for the tremendous childhood trauma by a sociopathic Mother, an absent Father and his search for true and lasting love, which was denied him. He didn't have the tools. I admire him tremendously 😊 RIP Howard.

  It's creepy and inspiring how much my life is aligned with his. Minus the movies, we both flew, were both mechanicaly involved with aircraft, both test pilots, and we share the same last name. I'm just not anywhere near as wealthy. I still have a picture of sitting in the Hercules as a kid. If there was a way to scrounge up the cash, I'd love to build another airworthy H-1 replica like Jim Wright did (RIP).

  A much maligned and misunderstood talent, I remember the news bulletin informing the world of his passing, I remember thinking,'That's it' after a life in the spotlight, that's all the fanfare for such an 'infamous' success of a person, to this day I never understood the neglect of the memory of Mr Howard Hughes, at least he will live in history for both right and a few wrong reasons.

  Howard spent the last days of his life in Acapulco, Mexico. He rented the whole top floor of the Acapulco Princess Hotel for himself. They said he died on his plan on his way back form Acapulco to Houston, but other sources said he was already dead. Thus his people(employees) had to paid &nbsp;$$$ to the mexican authorities to let them leave the country with the corpse..!!
