Raymond vs. Rodney is like the ultimate example of the "Aww you're sweet vs. HELLO HUMAN RESOURCES?" meme.

I never hated Resetti. Because one day in the GameCube days my brother was tired of me playing and turned the game off before I could save (luckily, I'd saved and quit earlier that day and was playing a second time so I only lost some fish catching). So he loaded up his own town right after and Resetti showed up to yell at him. I was very pleased.

Lyle is absolutely more shady than Redd, because at least Redd is open about it.

Everyone wants a loud queen until Pavé steps up to the plate. You want a queen or DON'T YOU!?

I feel like it's unfair to put the blame on Orville for his clunky menus, its definitely the fault of the devs for that

i did think raymond was slightly overrated at the time but after i got him from my campsite i absolutely fell in love with him - one of the first interactions i had with him was him saying something like 'here, you could use this!' and he gave me a wearable bag for my head. he's such an asshole he's perfect

A character I despise is Saharah, because in my New Leaf days when I was a kid she came over once, and I paid for her service, but the wall and flooring she picked was so bad that I felt scammed. And I never used her services again in either New Leaf or New Horizons because of that

There's a Twitter account that posts villagers' birthdays, and a couple years ago on Rodney's birthday, people were posting all sorts of nasty comments, but I felt sorry for the little guy, he's not that bad. So I got his amiibo card and invited him to come live on my island where he'll be loved and appreciated.

I think I'm one of the only people that geniunely loves Resetti. He's one of my favourite characters in animal crossing, and as a kid my favorite thing in acnl was to try get into the reset surveillance center (which I did far too many times), and I even had his amiibo card so I made him (and by proxy Don) a house in HHD too.
