  Sadly this is happening right across the board in care . Without family members speaking up for them can you imagine the neglect that is taking place. Government needs to do more regarding this issue.

  i am never putting my wife or a loved one into one of these homes. I shall forever look after them. This make me sick to the core.

  As a chronically Ill person with elderly carers this kind of stuff terrifies me. It's not enough to live in constant pain but surviving societies gross indifference is worse.

  The care industry is unregulated and for profit.  This is widespread. Elderly and disabled people are not safe in Britain. Nothing is being done, only lies in the media calling people scroungers.

  Being a past staff member of blue ribbon &nbsp;until very recently I can confirm they’re money grabbing cooperate leaders, they see nothing other than pound signs. I have whistleblown on multiple occasions only one of them leading to something after the first ITV report. <br><br>I’m glad I have stepped away as I could no longer mentally cope with how blue ribbon operates. <br><br>I have got a new job as a support worker, where all the staff and residents are treated properly and it’s truly shown me even more how bad blue ribbon is.

  I have just moved into a residential, as my mobility has gone down hill. On the day of handing over my bank statements and other paperwork, I took a friend with me. I told my friend that I am only giving them access to information to a current account. <br>I may have autism, but I do have some streets smarts, plus, I do not trust ANYONE until they have earned it.<br>What is happening to vulnerable people is sickening and it has been going on for years. If ths is happening to people who have parents and family memebers, can you imagine what is happening to people who have no family?<br>It breaks my heart. There needs to be more safeguards in place to stamp this out.<br>You can judge a society on how they treat its most vulnerable.

  This happens in elderly care homes as well. &nbsp;I carer was sacked for stealing but now works for a home care company in Lincolnshire. &nbsp; One care home here allowed a resident to sexually assault another resident, they covered it up. &nbsp;Another resident was left alone smoking and she caught fire. &nbsp;Carers abusing residents. &nbsp;Cqc is not fit for purpose
