  There&apos;s actually a story reason behind Umber&apos;s boss fight (or lack thereof) and it&apos;s basically that all the other guardians are dumb and refused to cooperate with Rayman.

  When I was a kid, the Zombie Chickens terrified me purely because of their description in the manual, terrorized by the pirates, the Chickens in the Glade of Dreams laid &quot;Dead Eggs&quot; which hatched into the Zombie Chickens. Those things were BORN DEAD. God they&apos;re creepy bastards even to this day.

  My Head Canons:<br><br>About Rayman throwing energy balls instead of his fists:<br>Rayman lost his fighting abilities before the events of the game, and Ly had no idea how to recreate Betildia&apos;s Fist Spell (I assume she was captured as well, but taken FAAAAAAAAAR away from Rayman to prevent her from helping him), So Ly used one of her own spell involving energy (since she can create them at will), sent it to Globox, cue intro of game.<br><br>About the &quot;Death Water&quot;<br>The Water was either Polluted (Like the first stage with Oil, and Nightmare Cave with.... Nightmares (Which I guess is Raymanian for &quot;Anti-Matter&quot;)), full of dangerous piranhas (Marsh), it&apos;s moving to quickly (Chase Level), or would tire out and drown (Any area with ocean). Makes a lot more sense than &quot;DUR EVERYTHING IS PIRANHAS&quot;.<br> <br>AND NOW...<br>Truth about Umber:<br>Ly told him you were coming, and in most versions he just walks back.<br>...<br>No seriously, the PS and PS2 versions of all things elaborates on this.

  it may sound weird but to me the best part of rayman 2 was the world itself, things like meeting clark, finding out rayman has friends or globox has a family

  I really miss actually going out to rent movies and games. We would always go out for slushies at the gas station after and sit down to play games or watch movies. Netflix and Hulu etc are great, but I really miss the old days sometimes.

  Now I learned that the Rayman 2 I grew up with on the PS1 was a butchered port. Ah well, I did like the voice acting!
