<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wfcco5P96lc&t=987">16:27</a> I have never seen a string of pearls look like that. I thought that was a donkey tail. I will never buy a string of pearls again.

This could also be called plants for helicopter plant parents lol. That's me so I'll probably seek out everything on this list

Begonias in general are at the top of my list. I think they are hands down the most beautiful, diverse genus out there and I adore them but they are SO finicky and I've struggled with every one I've ever had because I can't maintain 100% humidity 😮💨 <br><br>Also agree with Calatheas but I will say, C. rufibarba was an exception for me! I found it super easy and a lot more tolerant of benign neglect and less-than-perfect humidity conditions than all the other Calatheas I've had. <br><br>Finally, Peperomia! I really tried to love them and had so many varieties at one point, but they all turned on me eventually, even the ones that seemed like they were doing great for a while. I just find them really delicate and unpredictable and not for me. I need a sturdy plant!

Have had but won't again: Peace Lily, Calatheas, and Maranta. All divas for sure.

Half of my collection being on this list lmaoooo😭 (One Alocasia Amazonica, Two White butterfly Syngonium, One Thai Con, and Two Begonia Maculata) Granted my collection is pretty small with only about 11 plants. I don’t see it growing much bigger than that so I say it’s pretty manageable! I was also pretty intentional about getting plants that need similar-ish care like similar light and watering conditions which helps a ton. I can imagine how much more difficult upkeep would be for these plants with a collection of 20-30+ plants with varying needs. But if you’re not looking to have a really big collection, I’d say a good chunk of the list can be pretty manageable. Just be mindful of your growing conditions!

I made my husband listen to the your first pick. He teases me about the many fiddle leaf figs I've killed over the years. I agree, they CAN look beautiful, just not in my house.

I got my hoya compacta because I loved yours so much and I've been too scared to cut it back and propogate so it's just one long string after 3-4 years 😅 but she cute. Also those earrings are gorgeous on you 😍

Hi Harli! :) You really hit these all on the head for sure. I can't believe I never owned a fiddle leaf, string of pearls, or a pitcher plant. I just had to move my Monstera Deliciosa for the 3rd time this year lol 😆

I have so many I would never recommend. Like I love them but they are divas!

Agreed on the fiddle leaf fig! I grew mine very tall inside and then it started dropping its leaves out of nowhere so I chopped it down to a stump and put it outside and it is absolutely THRIVING! I am not a fan of strings of thing tho lol
