The longsword also had a disadvantage on the last cut because the katana had more pig below the cut, meaning the lower part had more weight. I saw that coming before the longsword was swung.<br><br>Still, you guys got plenty of bacon going to discuss this with beer and a grill.

The longsword’s more flexible temper I think came into play pretty heavily on the last 2 cuts. You can see in the slow shots the blade kind of bowed out right at the end on the flesh. I’d say the katana’s rigidity played well in the pig analog. It would have been cool to see some thrusting too!
