My wonderful husband of 60 years, my everything, has been gone 18 months and the questions what you've mentioned are the questions I've had.  At this point in time, what does the rest of my life look like?  Tears are still very close to the surface.  I've always been an introvert and this has made it worse.  I admit to struggling with being a recluse.  I do have a very supportive family.  Thank you for what you do.

Thank you so much for this podcast.  My husband passed two years ago and you spoke exactly what I was feeling.  At the second year I should be further along than I am.  When people ask how I'm doing I just say fine because I don't really think they would understand that this is still a struggle for me.  I don't know if it's because he took his own life, which has complicated his passing. His death was such a shock. Your words bring me comfort to know that others are having the same issues.  God bless you.

Thank you for this. I’m in my second year and all you mentioned are so true. <br>Yesterday one of our two cats passed away which adds another element: losing a living link to your husband. This cat was a comfort to me whenever I would be upset. He would immediately come to check on me by meowing and touching me with his paw to make sure I was okay. His loss is heartbreaking not only because of the unusual support he gave me, but also it brings up more memories of the life we all shared together. 💔
