I am from Carinthia/Austria and this place is only 20mins away from my home. I’ve been there multiple times the last years and its so fascinating to search for animals there. It’s also not really a problem for the environment, because only a small part of the stream has 25 Degrees and if fish swim further away, they die because of temperature differentiation.

Stay with her voice. It adds a documentary flavor to these videos. And she has a soothing tone which makes these very calming and relaxing to watch. And great camera work sir.

Keep her voice for narration and appear on camera explaining things yourself. Best of both worlds.

That perch at 6:46 😂 had such a “I’m so excited to be an extra in this movie and I’m trying really hard not to look right at the camera” vibe

I grew up there and still live here. It's literally like that for decades. The city tried to fish all the exotic breeds several times but they never managed to get out all of them + locals keep bringing in new fishes. It's also true that there is very limited harm to the local eco system. The creek further down is already cooler and it leads to a much faster river (Gail) which is freezing cold even im summer.

OC it's a bad idea to set out your tropical fishes in a local creek like that, but I have to admit it played out rather good. We also have a lake nearby where locals set out their water turtels and there was a significant population for years.

This is a special area in the Alps, it has warm water from hot springs. There is no damage to this ecosystem because it is not an area where cold water fish live.
I love this stream, it is like a small part of the Amazon.
