  I was a freshman at LSU when he was the starting quarterback. One morning I was at the McDonald’s in the student union ordering breakfast. A large figure walked up behind me and said, “can I get some jelly?” I turned around and it was Jamarcus. When I think of Jamarcus, I think of jelly.

  Y’all may not know this, but when Matt Millen, former President and CEO of the Detroit Lions, invited him into his office for a pre-draft interview. In this interview, Jamarcus kept staring down at his watch, prompting Millen to ask if he had anywhere to be. The second time he caught him staring at his watch, Millen demanded that he leave his office immediately and advised Al to not draft Jamarcus. <br><br>When the WORST GM of the modern era of sports (31-84, .270 winning percentage) says he wants nothing to do with you, you know you done stepped in it.

  Jamarcus Russel was my favorite Raiders QB ever! But then, I&apos;m a Broncos fan.

  Jamarcus Russell is the reason for the NFL rookie salary cap. Al Davis gave him $60 mil before he ever took a snap in the Nfl.

  People in the sports media keep asking Michael Lombardi for his opinions on QBs.<br>Lombardi (not related to Vince) drafted both Jamarcus Russell and Johnny Football.<br>He also said he would pass on Ben Roethlisberger and Aaron Rodgers before their drafts.<br>I wouldn&apos;t ask for his opinion on a high school QB.

  As one comment on another video said, &quot;I think for QBs, being the most physically gifted is actually a detriment because most of their success in high school in college is because of their physical gifts as opposed to skills they developed. Once they get to the nfl and the players are faster and stronger, they tend to flop because they don’t have the work ethic to actually learn how to dissect defenses.&quot; This comment absolutely NAILED IT.
