I always make my family watch these on Monday night in the living room on the big screen. If they can watch 4 hours of stupid singing shows on tv they can sit and watch this.

I just watched this whole thing straight. As a retired Army Sniper, who Pastored for 5 years at churches from 800 to 12,000 after I hung up the boots, I can say this interview hit home. I loved the transparency, his mannerism of still being humble, yet vulnerable as he is still working through some things, with his head held high, and forging forward. Great job Shawn as always!

I found this because of YouTube. I'm a Christian. I totally enjoy Jon Crist's comedy, and I enjoyed the podcast.

John Crist seems like a pretty decent person. In my humble opinion, he’s still evolving in his spirituality. I applaud his journey. Some of the stuff he claims is not in the Bible is indeed written. Keep seeking Jesus… it doesn’t all come at once. God bless you brother.

Ryan is a master listener. Dude is a rockstar turning a podcast into a therapy session but still making it feel personal for the guest in the chair.

I love the Shawn Ryan show, and I'm a huge fan of John Crist. I grew up a southern baptist, and it took 30+ years to get that condemnation indoctrination out of my soul. Thank God, I picked up a study guide of Romans in a local bookstore. It changed my life, and it changed my relationship with my savior. Thank you both for being real. You both have a beautiful testimony, and I praise God at how you use it.
