  Hey Allen,  Glad to see you're still at it.  This video popped up on my YouTube today and it took me a few seconds to realize it was my layout.  lol   I remember how much fun it was doing the video and how nervous I was. It's still hard for me to watch  the video but I did see some things that I had forgotten about and how I did it.   I still have my copy of the video but I don't have a VHS player anymore . 🙂 Thank's for releasing the video so I can share it with family and friends.  Hope your YouTube channel does well.  Thanks again for all you've done in the hobby.  Rick 🙂

  I've been an Allen Keller (and "Great Model Railroads") fan since the 1980s and want to thank you guys for finally releasing them onto YouTube.  Truth be told, I can't praise Allen Keller's work enough... he is a probability one of the best and most inspirational Model Railroaders of all time. Well, done and count on me as a constant viewer.

  I remember drooling over this layout when it was in Model Railroader, it was one of my most coveted issues. Now seeing this video Im even more blown away by the engineering behind it. The CTC board, computer programming and control, and tik-tok for example are super impressive. Thanks for sharing this video and great work Rick!

  What a great video! Rick's design and build techniques are timeless, and since I plan to build a bridge commemorating a long-gone bridge from my hometown, I appreciate seeing how he built his. Very helpful!

  Stunning layout. Still up to date even build decennia ago. A lot of useful info and very pleasant narration by Rick and Allen. Hope Rick is well and is still enjoying his 'Empire'. Wishing him and his family all the best and a big thank you for sharing this gem.

  I saw this layout in Model Railroader in 1990. It was the first layout I had ever seen with end to end operation.
