  Corrections: Patti was George&apos;s wife in 1967, not girlfriend. And at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSYYBGaK4_U&amp;t=2033">33:53</a> I made a blunder and incorrectly added a picture of Derek Taylor. Keep them coming guys! This is my first video and I want them to be as thorough and accurate as possible!

  The Maharishi gave each Beatle a mantra and said “Don’t tell anyone what yours is”.<br>After the fallout with the Maharishi, John and George told each other what their mantra was. They both said “That’s mine!”

  Anyone criticising George shud realise he was a 25 year old superstar, with every worldly pleasure available at his feet. The fact that he even made an earnest attempt to seek a spiritual centre &amp; was endlessly curious towards such experiences is a marvelous thing in itself.

  Regarding John’s reaction to Brian’s death. &nbsp;It’s pretty rare to see someone, in real time, react to a massive personal loss. &nbsp;John barely had a moment to process it, before a reporter was in his face. &nbsp;He had lost yet another key person in his life. &nbsp;Lost his mother, Uncle George, his Mother, his dear friend Stu, then Brian. &nbsp;In the context of having a broken family in the first place. &nbsp;John’s psyche had so many deep injuries, his ability to overcome and succeed so massively shows just how tough he was. &nbsp;I was just listening to the stripped down version of Woman last night. &nbsp;At 39-40, he was still doing the most beautiful, honest music. &nbsp;His voice and delivery never better. &nbsp;His was a great loss to all of the world

  I was taught sitar and tabla by George&apos;s teacher in the UK. I had been learning at a massive musical instrument store&apos;s upstairs floor teaching group. One day the owner said.. matty, you travel 2 &amp; half hours each way to learn here, we know of an Indian Classical Music teacher within a few miles. &nbsp;Maybe 5 ? From me. &nbsp;They said he is very good. He is an old man, he is from Pakistan. So I followed up the tip and thus &nbsp;became the start of a fantastic learning experience. Perhaps about 6 lessons in, he said.. matty you work in a photo place.. could you help me tidy up a few old photographs of him with Ravi and George. <br>My teacher was taught by Ravi also. So I produced the desired prints and perhaps at my next lesson he said to me.. &quot;Beat-man, ( his nickname for me), if you come on Wednesdays George will be here and we could all play&quot;. We&apos;ll I was speechless and actually declined to jam as I was not that great a player at that time. I remember he told me George lives a few miles away and comes Wednesdays. I thought what every Wednesday? <br>You can see my teacher, in the posthumously produced music videos Free As A Bird, and I cant remember the other one. Both have John singing.. I still have the photographic prints and my lesson ragas, half written by teach, half by me. Fond memories.

  Nice to see video clips that I&apos;ve never seen before. The Beatles certainly lived a fishbowl existence, with almost every stage of their lives captured on video.
