  The "Heart and Hand" motif on a Glasgow clay pipe represents the Independent Order of Oddfellows, a 19th-century fraternal society. Glasgow giants like William White and McDougall mass-produced these emblem pipes between 1850 and 1890 for working-class friendly societies, exporting millions worldwide. I dig fragments up in my garden here in the uk but  never a whole one , fantastic find 😊

  The Pieman River shots in the opening few minutes are glorious.  Beautiful scenery in beautiful weather. It looks equally beautiful in the rain and mist.

  These episodes are by far my favorite.  When you go exploring old mining camps or settlements.  It is truly amazing what you find.  That clay pipe was a tiny needle in a giant hay stack and fate brought you right to it.  I always enjoy the history that you research on these settlements or camps.  Great episode and I can't wait for part two!  I'm still shaking my head on that clay pipe and how you found it!
