  What cemented 2 as my favorite was the audio log describing a big daddy who'd lost his sister kneeling at a vent, sobbing.

  One character that doesn't get enough love is Nina Carnegie. She was a teacher who brought kids to the Ryan amusement park on the eve of the Civil War. When it started, she did everything to protect them, eventually starving to death. You can find a memorial for her that is still being taken care of. It's highly inferred that the kids are still in the park watching over her grave and keeping her memorial alive.

  As a dad, this game has resonated with me more and more throughout the years. “Programmed” to love a little girl is the most accurate way of explaining a “daddy.” it’s what we do, as soon as we get them in our hands it’s a switch in our brain to do anything and everything for them. Delta is the best father in gaming.

  I always liked how Sinclair was the total opposite to Atlas/Fontaine<br><br>Atlas presents himself as a noble man who is trying to save his family and fight back against a tyrant, when in reality he’s a corrupt mobster who’s destroyed the city to make a profit and leave with the winnings. He betrays you and was planning on doing this from the very start.<br><br>Sinclair on the other hand, never pretends he’s a saint. He’s a shady business man who’s looking out for number one and he’s helping you as more of a quid pro quo.<br><br>But when push comes to shove, Sinclair is true to his word and actually helps you right up to the very end, even after lamb turns him into a Big Daddy. whereas Fontaine died at the hands of the monsters he created after becoming a literal monster himself.

  If i remember correctly lamb kidnapped children to turn them into little sisters and the &quot;first generation&quot; of little sisters grew up to become the big sisters

  Surprisingly you can still get the perfect good ending where Lamb survives so long as you spare at least one person. It seems tailor made for you to spare Grace, mercy kill Gil, and get revenge on Stanley.

  Minervas Den was a wonderfully written DLC. I will never forget that satuarday afternoon playing through it.

  Bioshock 1 may be a masterpiece. But it is only so, up to the moment you get the big plot twist.<br>Bioshock 2 improves any and every combat mechanic, balances it out, and despite not giving us a big plot twist, it still manages to create an amazingly well designed and complex villain that serves an incredibly interesting purpose on Rapture as a philosophical opponent to its whole identity. AND you get many more choices that create a more well-tailored ending to the game itself.

  theres a reason i replayed Bioshock 1 and 2 over and over again like an addiction, but i have to admit, i like playing as a Big Daddy more. something about being basically a power armored monster terrorizing the nightmare you survived in BS1 feels right. plus you actually get to interact with the Little Sisters in a deeper way, which just feels nice. helping them gather Adam, protecting them like a guardian, hearing their little quips in that creepy-cute style when you do basically anything while they&apos;re on your back. its a whole vibe that im absolutely here for.<br>after Bioshock 1 you just feel a bit too lonely i think. maybe that was part of their motivation for this system in Bioshock 2. they also made the Little Sisters significantly cuter, which definitely helped.

  I played Bioshock 2 all the way back when it was released in 2010. I fondly remember the cashier telling me she went back to playing first game to get the &apos;taste out of her mouth&apos; with 2. I don&apos;t remember what else she said, but it&apos;s nice seeing Bioshock 2 get its flowers. Feels like it&apos;s gotten more popular as time went on.

  For me the neutral ending, where you allow yourself to die so Eleanor is free of both her mother and your mistakes, is one of the most poignant and moving endings I&apos;ve ever experienced. I actually cried when I first got it.
