  Can I suggest that the next time a video like this is done, we also speak to Home Assistant Integration and local control. This is more important than you'd imagine to the techy Dad who's looking to put a battery on the house and best optimise the system or control their home loads.

  A great comparison. 🙂 Both fantastic products, but lots of points of difference too. As a Tesla owner, I’m encouraged by how much of an impact Sig have made so far, and if truth be told I’m envious of some of the software features they offer.   Sigenergy full stack (SigenStor inverter + batteries) draws ~135–300 W idle/parasitic in standard Self-Consumption mode (user reports: 135 W on 10 kW SP + 40 kWh; 165–235 W on 3-phase + 3–5 modules; 250 W on 25 kW + 48 kWh). That equals ~6 kWh/day. Official docs only publish Enhanced Saving mode (8–11 W), which trades off slower backup response and possible black-start needs.<br>Tesla Powerwall 3 is lower: real-world user data shows 65–110 W idle / ~1–2 kWh/day parasitic (some report 1.5–2 kWh total phantom draw; 3–4 kWh total battery losses including round-trip). No official standby spec published, but consistently beats Sigenergy’s normal-mode draw

  Being able to add modules to the Sig would seem to me to be a good way to extend its lifespan, which is a big consideration for me.

  Concerned to make the jump to an sig as heard of the Australia issues etc .. maybe too new and back up service not great yet?? Also it’s all plastic casings and the warranty from what I’ve seen doesn’t cover some of the parts for more than two years

  On the Sigenergy system, if installing it on a single phase installation such as a typical domestic house, would the inverter be capable of also putting out 3-phase, for instance to supply a fast car charger or 3-phase equipment in a home workshop? If so that would be a fantastic solution for rapid car charging on demand from the battery without affecting max demand or putting additional current through the main CU/DB.

  Goodwe&apos;s latest all-in-one unit is a beast too. Built-in gateway with 4ms change over time with whole house back up straight out of the box. Stackable system like sig and VPP functionality its a great option

  I’ve got the Sigenergy system and my mate has the Tesla system. Both installed last year, similar properties and size. After many conversations and looking at the performance, data and esthetics we have concluded that the Sigenergy system wins on most fronts. This is only on our size systems, I’m having another battery put on my Sigenergy stack on Monday.

  With Tesla being granted a licence from Ofgem does this change your opinion / analysis??
