Love the new channel. Finding your main channel last year actually got me into collecting cacti and succulents. Thanks for the videos.

You're my favorite plant tuber by a lot man. Your passion for your hobby really comes through in the content you release.
Weighing the pot was my go to when I was new to growing plants. I'm a type of person that likes doing things in a careful and measured way, so weighing the pot helped ease my anxiety about over/under watering when I was learning the ropes. Plus it helped me build up the intuition to just know when I lift a pot how dry it is.

Awesome video thank you! I recently got into the hobby by growing lophophora and trichocereus from seed and got 3 cactuses (an astrophytum, a Gymnocalycium and a emoryi covillei) and succulents (grouping of lithops, probably lesliei) in mini size to enjoy looking at and growing while I recover from surgery.
This will be super helpful for my cactuses!

I had my cacti outside all summer (I live in Canada) so mother nature took care of the watering. Now that they’re inside before the cold I struggle to know do I water less?

Can most cactus can stay outside in the open. What about the cold rainy winter weather. Will they be ok , 👌 if l don’t water them in winter. I am in Victoria thanks

Is normal tap water ok to use , or can it be reverse osmosis?
And would soaking the pot in a shallow container till the pot's all moist
through a bad idea? Total newbie here, but have caught the cactus bug-thanks to you;)

Is this advice also applicable to other succulents and euphorbia’s? And if they do differ; how?
