  Me and my family lived in a house for over a decade. Then within the span of three years my father died, I and my sister left for college and my mother remarried and moved out. Everything happened so fast that I&apos;m not sure everyone processed what just happened. I sure did not<br><br>The house remained frozen in time, and many years later I returned to live alone in it for a few months.<br><br>Why? I wanted to let go

  this screenshot just unlocked me a memory from 2016 were i was playing dayz with my usual internet friends of that time.. i &nbsp;met those poeple on this game completely at random, we just instantly clicked. after that we became a defined group of people and we played togheter for years. then slowly with time everyone drifted onto other things in life. but in all of us i&apos;m sure, the memories always remains. hours spent while playing this game, a lot of people met, a lot of laughs,talks and memories made. but now its all in the past. its hard to explain to someone who do not play videogames of this kind, but all of this has been an experience. i hope nowadays all of those people are happy in life.

  I can’t leave the past, ever since 2020, I just… wanna go back. the old me, the feelings I felt, I was alive… now I’m a shell of my former self, spending every moment in the present longing for the past… how ironic. to cling to a time we can never relive, yet longing for it…

  these DayZ backgrounds got me thinking about all the good times I had on that game! I don’t play anymore, and my friends have drifted onto other things too, but I still remember the hours we spent meeting up, gearing up and heading north… Seeing these parts of the map again feels like being right next to those memories - so close, yet still out of reach :( The towns, the roads, the empty ambience… it all feels strangely isolating now. So many nights we played until sunrise, so many random encounters with people I’ll never talk to ever again, so many moments frozen in time - pieces of something that once felt endless, that quietly came to an end without us ever realising.

  Thanks so much for this and all your wonderful videos, my soul needed this one. Always loved the Stalker games and their ambience. Seeing modded out Stalker vids back in the day with way better graphics than normal is what made me want a gaming pc actually

  I love the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. world and setting. My favorite part of any STALKER game is the start when you have barely any medical supplies, a kevlar jacket, and you&apos;re depending on a sawn off to keep you afloat with a backup 9MM smg.
