  Not sure why I see so many channels lately picking up My Dress up Darling but I&apos;m very happy that the two of you joined them! The Series is fantastic and you&apos;re in for a wholesome treat! :)

  This is such a great show. People sometimes have a problem with the first few episodes, but i promise you it gets sooo much better, and season 2 is an absolute treasure! The animators really went all out on it because the person who made the original story loved season 1 so much<br><br>EDIT: Holy shit some of the people in this comment thread are legitimately toxic and hateful. I regret ever saying i enjoyed this show if this is how some of yall act because someone isnt a purist and up to your standards of how to actually enjoy a show

  For newbies; yes it does some ecchi scenes but it&apos;s always in the context. Trust the mangaka about this, she knows what she&apos;s doing &lt;3

  Kitagawa Marin and her friends are what you usually call &quot;gyaru.&quot; They&apos;re often not portrayed in the best light, almost like delinquents. They have that &quot;mean girls&quot; vibe, and even talk with their own slang (like a Valley girl equivalent). A lot of stylization, fashion, accessories, and make-up. Doesn&apos;t care too much for school rules and dress codes (like how Marin doesn&apos;t wear her uniform right and even their skirts are shorter than the school intended). Bleached or dyed hair and sometimes tanned complexion. Usually portrayed as people who bully nerds/otakus. <br><br>Usually at least. But lately there&apos;s been a surge of portrayals painting them in a better light. And Marin here is basically at the forefront. She&apos;s a sweetheart.
