  Talking about BMW and only evaluating M cars is a bit wacky. <br><br>E9X, F22, F3X, G2X, &amp; G42 (2/3/4 series) cars all with the turbocharged inline six engines are solid cars at a lower price point than the M cars, insurance will be less, and they don&apos;t have the M tax on parts. There&apos;s vibrant communities around the N54, N55, and B58 engines. The ZF8 auto transmission attached to them are reliable, good performing, can be built strong as hell, and are in more cars than you can shake a stick at! Plus, the non-M 2/3/4 all have optional AWD for people who live in regions that get snow and don&apos;t want to put the car away for the winter.

  As an owner of an RC-F, power mods are quite limited. The stock engine is already running a high compression and there isn&apos;t a ton of room in the engine bay, so the law of diminishing returns hits them pretty hard. Like dropping 10k on a supercharger and running pure ethanol to hit 700hp levels of diminished. <br><br>That said they&apos;re super comfortable, very stiff chassis that handles the weight well, and still fast enough to get in trouble, awesome touring and cruising cars. Plus it&apos;s a 5.0L Japanese V8 that sounds wonderful, who could hate that?
