  I was forced to live in a converted schoolbus just like this when I was 17, and me and my 3 siblings all slept in those little coffin bunk beds. We had no room or privacy, but of course my parents decided to have a full size fridge, and a separate “room” with a door and privacy for their large queen size bed. We didn’t even have a shower or running water. Periods were terrible :( <br>Needless to say, &nbsp;I eventually went no contact and I’m a lot happier now :)

  Parents get master bedroom, they can stand in, totally private. EVERY SINGLE TIME.

  I was a &apos;van life&apos; kid, full time (12-17). My parents waited until I was the last child at home so it wasn&apos;t overcrowded and I would have my own space. They prioritised me having my own room so I had privacy and it was an amazing experience getting to travel the country. Its so disgusting seeing this new van life culture that is so exploitative of children when I know first hand how it can be done ethically when your parents actually gaf.

  Supersized seperate washer and dryer, king sized bed, kitchen island, entire wall space for spices, and they decided to shove those poor kids in cubby holes.

  Last night my 1 and a half yr old got upset with me until I let her stand on the laundry room alone with the door shut for a couple minutes. All she did was stand there and babble to herself. If a freaking one year old can ask for/need a moment of silence and privacy in a 4 bedroom house then these kids must be losing their ever loving minds. <br>Having a king size private master bedroom while your kids sleep in drawers is NUTS

  These kinds of situations are PERFECT for rampant, unchecked child abuse. The only adults these children know are their parents. They have no school to go to, no established primary care provider, no neighbors, no friends, no other trusted adults. They are entirely reliant on and at the mercy of their parents in every single way that matters.
